One week touring Normandy and Brittany, focusing on the latter. We started in Rouen, heading to the coastal Étretat and Honfleur before visiting the D-day beaches (still no cemetery impresses me more than the one in Henri-Chapelle, Belgium). Our Breton part mixed much of the coast (Île de Bréhat, Pointe du Raz...), many villages and nature inland (Huelgoat, St-Thégonnec) and a bunch of its most remarkable towns: St-Malo, Dinan, Quimper, Pont-Aven, Lorient (Celt party!), Vannes, Rennes. We could not leave the region without a visit to Mont Saint-Michel.
